Construction : The condenser typically consists of coils made of metal tubing, often aluminum or copper, through which the hot refrigerant gas flows. Heat is transferred efficiently.

Air Flow : The condenser coils are exposed to air flow, usually facilitated by a fan. As the hot refrigerant gas passes through the coils, the air removes the heat from the refrigerant, causing it to condense.

Heat Exchange : The heat exchange process in the condenser is crucial for the refrigeration cycle. It occurs after the refrigerant has absorbed heat from the indoor environment (evaporator) and becomes a hot, high-pressure gas. The condenser releases this heat to the outside air, causing the refrigerant to return to a liquid state.

Types : There are different types of coil-type condensers, including air-cooled and water-cooled condensers. Air-cooled condensers dissipate heat to the ambient air, while water-cooled condensers use water as the cooling medium.
